Day 1 of fall conditioning.

We ran the 3 mile lake that’s right next to our school.. at 5 pm. In Florida.
Am I the only one that thinks that’s just absolutely crazy?!

Well anyway… I got it done in 34:36 which I thought was pretty dang good. (I thought I was going to take at least 45 minutes…)

After feeling accomplished and happy, I proceed to log on Facebook to see my coach post this on the school’s softball page:
First day of conditioning… Lake Run… didn’t do great- but it’s what i expected.” 

… alright, well…

happiness crushed.
